What is the difference between a nylon net and netting fabric (mesh webbing)?

A nylon net is a finished product designed for specific purposes: protecting property, enclosing areas, catching fish, etc.
The net has a perimeter rope edging, attachment elements (hooks, tails), and is made to the required dimensions.
Netting fabric (mesh webbing) is a semi-finished product intended for further processing. It is supplied in the manufacturer’s standard dimensions and with raw, unprocessed edges.
